Class Descriptions:
 

All of our classes are appropriate for individuals of all fitness levels, including those with physical limitations (always check with your doctor before beginning any exercise program). We specialize in yoga for people who think they can't do yoga. Previous experience with yoga is not necessary in order to participate in and fully enjoy our classes.  

Gentle Hatha Yoga
moves at a slow pace and detailed instruction is provided for getting into the postures. A great introduction to yoga! 

 

Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced with the aid of a chair. This class includes postures seated in a chair, as well as standing using a chair for support.  

Open Vinyasa is a relaxing, slow flow yoga practice.  Modifications are provided throughout the class in order to provide a range of options in the poses so that students may adjust the practice to their individual level.

Gentle Restorative Yoga is about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretches. This class uses props to support the body for deeper relaxation and stretching. Students remain in postures for longer periods of time, one to five minutes.  


Restorative Flow combines vinyasa yoga (flowing movements in coordination with the breath) and restorative yoga (deep relaxation with the use of props). Class begins with 40 minutes of vinyasa yoga, moves through 25 minutes of restorative poses, and ends with 10 minutes of relaxation.

Mats and props are provided for all classes free of charge.
