What are some of the benefits I can expect to gain from practicing yoga?
Practicing the physical postures of yoga increases flexibility and strength of the body. Devoting time to observing the mind and the breath during class provides a deep sense of balance and relaxation, helping to relieve stress.
What do I wear to class?
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in.
What do I need to bring to class?
Bring your yoga mat (if you don't have a mat, Tree of Life Yoga Studio provides them free of charge). You may want to bring a blanket or sweatshirt to cover up with during the relaxation portion of class. Also, feel free to bring a water bottle.
